Have the Green Lake experience without the Green Lake price. Shel Rays Lake House is located only 10 miles from Green Lake on the Fox River at the mouth of the 5,500 acre Lake Puckaway in Green Lake County. You can launch your boat from a free boat launch a block away from the house.
This 5 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath, 3,000 sq ft home has everything you would need to have a great vacation. Sleeping a total of 10 people, it has 2 master bedrooms with comfortable pillow-top king size beds and 3 bedrooms with 2 comfortable twins in each. There are TVs with Direct TV satellite reception in both master bedrooms. The upstairs master has an outside deck overlooking the Fox River with great views of the sunset and water.
This home has a full kitchen with dining area, 2 living rooms with satellite TV and a game room. All TVs have Direct TV satellite hookup. This home is newly furnished throughout including the bedrooms.
You will experience great sunsets over the water from the backyard, and if you feel like grilling outside there is a deluxe charcoal grill, a really nice firepit, outdoor games plus a large picnic table for you to use as well (bring your own charcoal).
Located 10 miles from Green Lake, 5 miles from Princeton and 49 miles from the Wisconsin Dells, Shel Rays Lake House has everything you need for the whole family to have a great time, and if you like to golf there are more than enough golf courses nearby to satisfy that need to play. With all the shopping and things to do you won't want to leave!!! Don't forget to bring your boat! (We do furnish a row boat at no additional charge.)

LAKE PUCKAWAY and THE FOX RIVER

Located in Green Lake County near Marquette, Princeton, Markesan and Green lake, Lake Puckaway is 8 miles long and 2 miles wide. It has a surface area of 5,039 acres, a maximum depth of 5 feet and an average depth of 3 feet. The Fox River drains into Lake Puckaway making it a great fishing lake. Several public boat launches surround the lake.

Fish species are abundant and large: Bluegill, Crappies, Perch, Largemouth Bass, Muskie, Northern Pike, Sturgeon, Walleye and Catfish. The Wisconsin State Record for a 38 lb. Northern Pike was taken from Lake Puckaway.

Lots of activities, great dining and shopping are nearby in Marquette, Montello, Princeton and Green Lake.

This is your opportunity for an affordable country getaway on the water with lots of activities, shopping and eateries in the surrounding communities... from Green Lake to Montello to Marquette..

Fish the Fox River or Lake Puckaway... hunt, snowmobile, cross-country ski, horseback ride, hike, bike, go canoeing or motor down the river and birdwatch. All these activities are in the area for your vacation enjoyment.

Attend Wisconsin's largest weekly summer flea market in nearby Princeton, the home of four large antique malls and many boutique shops specializing in handcrafted collectibles.

Four fine golf courses plus driving ranges and miniature golf are within 10 miles of Princeton. There are over 150 miles of mapped biking routes on 8 back road tours beginning in downtown Princeton.

Hiking trails are nearby and 3 major public wildlife refuges are within a short drive. You can even visit a bison ranch north of Princeton.
